uploading my own picture

Hi All

I have been trying to put a picture on my profile from my own pics.

I click on the upload my own pic, Browse & select etc

It says the picture is too big or not an avatar.

Help please!!

reduce the size of the image to one that the forum will accept
max size 300 Kb
