Welcome to A4A Angel... not familiar with that variety but as a rule pumpkins like a lot of water and nutrients so I wouldn't think a growbag will suffice...  :-X

It will be hard job to keep it watered in growbag..but if you must..only 1 plant per bag..and the bag standing on it's end..make it deep bag rather than flat on as used normally..

Laughing as I write Manics !!... Angel, Snowman will grow to about 6kg, vines are medium length which could be 15 feet. I would be very concerned about the amount of soil in a grow bag , even feeding it, so my answer would be no. Better planted in the garden, at least 4 feet apart and in a spot where you can train the vines where you want them, this can be across the lawn, down the edge of a path, you can even turn them so they go back in the direction they started. They are very easy to  grow if you have the space. Don't plant them out till it is warm and keep them well watered. I give mine a handful of organic fertiliser at transplant time to give them a boost.

Good Luck..it is smashing pumpkin.

Welcome to A4A.

agree with all above,a growbag would be spent very quickly with pumpkins

i treat my pumpkin bed like a dump, gets everything thrown in,spent manure, compost, rotten leaves, fertiliser pellets ect

Angel

Thank you everyone - looks like I am gonna have to dig a patch !!

Thanks for the extra info Jeannine, I hadn't realised it was such a monster! I spotted it in a seed catalogue and couldn't resist it  ;D  I think it sounds like one for a compost heap planting!!

Jeannine

If you want a little white one Baby Boo is very small just  graperuit size, if you want bigger ,Moonshine is about 8 pounds, XX Jeannine
