Waiting for the police

Good Friday was not too good.  Son is going through a divorce and was staying the night. He arrived home about midnight, and after that it all kicked off (nothing to do with him).  Saw a couple fighting outside, and the girl beat up her partner or whatever, another man came and she hit him too.  It all calmed down, so I thought, and then it all kicked off.  Son woke up and called 999 as sounded as if woman was being murdered.  No police, rang again, and eventually they turned up after the flat opposite had had the door kicked in and woman screaming and swearing.  Then a police van and ambulance turned up, it was then 4 am.  The woman was handcuffed and put in the van and then kicked it and the noise started again.  Waiting for the police as offered to give a statement as in this case the woman certainly beat the living daylights out of the two men and they were trying to calm her down.

Oh dear, what a horrible thing to have to witness. Hope the rest of your Easter is peaceful.

Sounds horrible! I always feel sorry for the emergency services in these cases, I mean their jobs are tough enough as it is without numpties making it worse!

Hope you get some peace and quiet  :)
