Is it OK to put my Chilli's in an unheated greenhouse?

I have 10 plants, most of which I want to give away when they start flowering. Its just I've run out of room on the window sill and I have to move them. It would be OK for 1 or 2 plants but not all 10.

i hope so! we put ours in two weeks ago, they do have bubble wrap round them, and seem ok,so far!
when the going gets tough, the tough go digging

Thanks, I moved them out earlier but I would bring them in if I felt I would kill them.

Never thought about bubble wrap.

If they are too cold they may not die but might just stop growing and sulk..similar to tomatoes which stop growing at 15c but it needs a colder temp to cream them

How cold is it there now?

I'd be inclined to put them out as Jeannine said, they may sulk for a while but will stay alive. I have over 100 seedling chillies I'm taking through our Winter here and expect them to be fine come Spring.

Thanks for the reassurance.

I put them out yesterday and they've held up well. I'm hoping the frosts have all gone. I'm off for a long weekend so won't be able to check again until Monday.

Fingers crossed.

I've heard we're getting snow on wednesday.

Mine have been in the greenhouse for a couple of weeks, I shall be bringing mine indoors until the cold snap is over. Too much of a risk to leave out, seeing as I have so many.

Don't know where I am going to put them though.  ???
