Just a few tubers would do.

I have yacon or red oca to swap, or mangetout Golden Sweet, or what else would you like?

If no-one else comes up with any, I possibly have some in tubs outside... I say possibly, as I spent some time in hosp, then the -15 degree frosts arrived and I haven't checked whether they are okay...  The garden has now defrosted!!!  They are from tubers I bought quite a few years ago from Edulis, and they grew amazingly well down on my old allotment, but not as well in containers.

Likewise with my oca, I had several tubs full of excellent ones, and I need to see whether they are still viable... if not, I'll swap for the oca, otherwise I'll swap for the mangetout.

I'll be able to check them tomorrow or Sunday

Thanks Mat.
Fingers crossed then! E-mail me direct once you know.

Like Mat, I MIGHT have a few buried in a pot.
Would LOVE some Yaco!   If I can't find the 'chokes, is there anything else you would like in exchange for a couple??

Ian Pearson

Hi Torreya. I'm sure we can work out something.
I've sent you a PM

mat

okay Ian, I've got the Chinese artichokes; they've survived the frosts!  Do you still need some?  If so, I'll PM you

p.s. they are delicious raw :-)
