Fig tree question - when to move cuttings

Last year I fixed some lower branches of my fig tree to the ground and these have now rooted.  Does anyone know when would be the best time to move them?

Are you potting them on or planting them out?  :-\

I'll be giving one of them away, probably potting on the others.

Either way before they start growing so I would pot them up now...  :)
