Sorry to one and all at A4A,

Been kind of busy with work and family, :P A lot has gone on and to much to put in this note to you all.
I will try to be on here more often, but as you all know things are about to get out of hand.
WEEDS! Yes they are back and I have to get to them before they take over my garden.
Sense of humour is still here and being the fun guy I am I will be asking lots of pointless questions about gardening of which I am well out of touch with modern practices. ??? ???
Over winter I has been busy on the railway with lots going on and more hours to fill than available. Not done a thing to me patch and had to look round it to see what needs doing and what can wait for now.
Have bought some fruiting trees to enjoy, but unsure where to plant.
Morello cherry and Elstar apple come from Lidls
I will be putting them in the ground and hope in a few years they produce a small quantity of fruit to taste.
Sealed the bench I made and hope that it lasts a few more years.
Hedging and trees are doing well here, as is the rest of the garden. A lot of neglect, but I will get on top of this over the next few weeks.
I shall be looking to you all for tips and help with all manner of things and hope that all responses are answered with tongue in cheek.
Be well and prosper from your knowledge a good year will be had by all.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

Hiya Landimad, we've neglected our plots in this cold, dark ,dismal winter but we've been down there today digging, rotovating, weeding. We soon whipped em into shape :)
Nice to have you back :)
sanity is overated

Kea

How's the lad at Cambridge?

Mine has spent a lot more money than he should and found a flat for next year...just hope he's passed this year he's been a bit vague on that subject!

Mortality

Please don't be offended by my nickname 'Mortality'
As to its history it was the name of a character I played in an online game called 'Everquest'
The character 'Mortality Rate' was a female Dark Elf Necromancer, the name seemed apt at the time and has been used alot by me over the years.

Tonybloke and cornykev the bench is doing fine. I have treated it with some clear preservative and put it out to weather for the rest of the year. ;)

Grannyjanny and Saddad always a pleasure. :-*
Macmac, we are all looking forward to the longer days and what we can get out of what we plant into. :o
Kea my lad is doing his damndest to annoy his parents with this new knowledge he has aquired. He thinks he can outsmart his parents, what he fails to remember is that we were young once!!! ;D
