clearing out some shelves at the back of a cupboard we found a bottle of blackberry rum, orange brandy(made like sloe gin) and a bottle of elderberry wine.All over 10 years old, dont know wether to drink it or try running the car on it.
  Had a little sip and it didnt taste tooooooo bad.

Gordon as no one has replied can I make a suggestion please. Invite a load of A4Aers round for a tasting, then if there is a problem it won't be as serious because only small amounts have been consumed ;).

Gordon can I suggest you do a proper taste test. If it gives you the squits pour it down the sink or give it as a raffle prize ;D, if you only have a headache then enjoy it be grateful for paracetamol ;D ;D
