Gojo Berry

Hi all can anyone give any info on the gojo berry please. I planted 3 plants last year and through the summer they grew to 8ft tall so I had to support them. I had read they could be grown as a bush plant so around November I cut them back to about 4/5ft. Can I cut them lower and will they just grow upwards again? how many years before fruit etc. Any help please. willie

Mine produced one fruit (out of 3 bushes) in the first year.

I don't know anything about pruning them though, as I just left mine grow, they are 4 to 5ft.
I am going to put some poles up with wire across and train them horizontally.
