I have had one of these for a couple of years now and it has done fine with very little attention. In fact it has done so well it is now pushing itself out of the pot (the one it came in). I have decided it needs re-potting and have just got a larger pot and some orchid compost to do it with.

I think i know how to re-pot one of these orchids but I am not sure when to do it. It seems to need it now but i feel it might be a bit early. it is also just beginning to grow a new flower spike. Can i repot it now or do I need to wait until spring? When generally is the best time to do it?

Thanks

I'm sure more learned folk will come along in a mo but I always feel that if something is climbing out of its pot then it's ready!!  :)
Don't throw paper away. There is no away.
