Can't see how they would get a steam engine to go through the channel tunnel though. lol

Human beings shovelling snow off the lines, they would all be on disability benefit on day two nowadays...

Bugloss2009

if it's that really great film, notice how the poor ********'s weren't even issued with gloves

I must now be amongst those classified as those deemed `old` ;D

I remember that winter--walking(yes walking) to primary school that was open, cold hands warmed on coke fired radiators and then school as normal.

And `snowballing`or sliding on carefully tended ice runs-and no HSE wallies to spoil the fun or parents phoning compensation lawyers if someone got a small scrath on their knee.

Cleo-at 31 so must I!! I remember my fantastic headteacher at primary school encouraging us to slide around the playground and have snowball fights. Birmingham would be covered in snow and ice and I think we had one day off when the school was closed in all my school years!  >:(
Don't throw paper away. There is no away.

Those WERE the good old days. At 61 I remember them well. Well I think I do ;D ;D ;D. OH has the DVD of that clip, he loves trains, bless. My grandchildren are encouraged to be out in it & love it.
