I like Ryan Giggs. He must be one of MU's longest serving players? I didn't know he had won this until you posted, Georgie, but I must confess to being quietly pleased for him.

I was convinced it would be Jenson Button (nice chap)but was really chuffed it was Ryan Giggs-number 1 grandson is a Man U FAN ;)

Think the bookies had Buttonas favourite so some Giggs fans might have made some money. How old is Giggs now? He's been around a long time- and more ofa role model than some of them!

Lewis Hamilton fell out of favour with the British public when he decided to be domiciled in Switzerland to avoid UK Income Tax.  I heard a few nights ago that Jenson Button now lives in Monaco and I am certain that this could be the reason he didn't come first. 

Well done to Giggsie.  I am not a Man U fan he has achieved a lot in his career and does a lot for charity.  He also pays his taxes here and helps support this country in true British spirit.

I'm a Liverpool fan but I have to admire what he has achieved as a player. And unlike a lot of players, you can't help but respect him as a person as well.

Top man and well deserved.  :)
