Way to go!
My slips all disappeared under a squash vine.
The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.

Would love to grow sweet potato but have been told that it is not worth it as you do not get a good crop. any advice on how to make it worthwhile

I tried last year.  It took me ages, doing it on the windowsill from a cutting.  I put them in the ground, and they were dead within a week.
