OK, so which chicken is the culprit?

I've got four chickens... and never more than three eggs a day. This has been going on for months, and you can read some of my bright ideas on how to spot the errant feathered fiend on my blog site below.

I'm seeking suggestions for how I can spot the culprit. Don't mind how far out they are... the funnier the better!

I have heard of peps putting talc in nest boxes nice smelling ones so you have a sniff and know who lays. or have a vidio cam hee

Maybe they are all laying but not every day, they could be taking alternate days off. ;D

Im sure that will be the case, after all if it takes 25/26 hours for an egg to form, there's BOUND to be a day every so often when each one doesn't  lay, I think they're doing well to make sure they don't all have the same day off!! :)
