Labour has just announced that they are going to slap on a tax on all broadband users. BT are already charging me £6.00 per month to cover my entry in the directory plus £9.00 per quarter for billing costs ( I have a business line) Yellow page has put up my entry fee from £150.00 per year to £290.00 per year. I thought we were in a recession?. Well I`m going to fight back and when the new tax comes into force I shall be getting rid of the BT line, I can always go to the local library and get everything free there

Do you have a link or two with specific details of their plans? There has been speculation re this issue before, but the articles I've read to date have been devoid of any real information. :(

I wouldnt worry about it. Broadband users are 99% of the population so I doubt any party would risk it. Labour aint gonna get in again for a long time anyhow......

I think that if they were professional liers, it would not be so obvious, I think their rather amateur.
