My jar lids popping once I have made my chutneys and jams. Sometimes I have forgotten about them until they start popping :D

Nah its when youve just bottled the hot chutney or jam...then it cools and it creates a vacuum the air is expelled and then you get the pop!
I am not going nutty it really does pop!!
