Fanks Manics! You've made my day!   didn't think I was on the Birthday rounds. ;) :)

Just went into town with the kids to fork out a small mortgage on new school shoes for them  :o >:(.

Then helped them make me a  "Caterpillar and Firework" cake (much head scratching but we managed it!).

OH is working away so will celebrate with him at the weekend :-[ :P.

Hope you are having a triff summer - we have been away for 2 weeks (came back at the weekend) so just getting back to the routines!

Sorry - didn't take a piccy of the cake - just a square choc cake with piccys done with sweets by the kids really so not that interesting to see.  Scrummy though!

Cake was good - just had a second bit .... Eldest son wanted a caterpillar cake, younger wanted a firework cake so we invented a dual purpose one!!   I would have preferred Carrot cake but in the interests of peace and queit (end of school hols, sacred time of peace approaching soon please) I capitulated! ;D ;D

The plot is a nightmare at the moment as after 2 weeks hold and scant attention over the school break the weeds are everywhere.  Looking forward to getting it straight next week!
