Hi all at our allot. site the blight is running mad, most people are lifting the potato's, so I have been doing the same, though some are still looking healthy. Can I use the lifted potato's to boil then freeze and store in freezer?

Not a method I've tried... think they may disintegrate on thawing...  :-\

For roast potatoes at a later date, you can parboil them,  then drain and toss in hot oil/ fat. (Make sure well drained or the oil will spatter very fiercely).  Allow to cool,  then freeze loosely in a bag. Cook from frozen.

You can buy frozen rostis (e.g. from M&S) so there must be a way if doing that as well  :)

Or just store in sacks, you don't have to dig them up though, just chop off the top growth and  then the blight won't travel down the stem into the spud.  ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.
