Good Morning again

I had a cordyline which died last winter. It has now put up three little baby's all are about 6/8 inches high, which are all close to the trunk. How can i separate them? Or should i leave them to all come up together? Advice would be welcome

let them come up a bit more then carefully scrape the soil away to see if there are a few roots coming out of the 'babies'. when there are, use a sharp knife and cut them away from the original trunk with their new roots.
You can plant them in the ground but I would bring them on a bit in pots using a half and half course grit and compost mix. Plant out when the pot is full of new roots.
