well i ate my cara potatoes as chips last night the best chips ive ever had so light and fluffy inside yet crispy on the outside an absolute delight  :D

Lettuce, toms & cucumber with prawn as a salad followed by blackberries & blueberries with ice cream!  ;D

fried all the toms that had split while we were away, added a couple of fresh from the chickens eggs, couple of slices of home made bread, toasted, meal fit for anyone , followed by our just ready discovery apples ;D

Courgettes, sauteed in a bit of butter, with roasties made fom the Charlottes I dug up the other day, to go with OH roast beef and my tuna steak. Yum!
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

12/08/09 runnerbeans, tomatoes, scotchbonnet and the first pattypan squash. all roasted with tofu and my garden herbs, t'was very yummy.

our brand new pink furry apples(as we call them) chicken casserole,with our own onion,garlic,courgette,chard and bean medley,scrummy!
when the going gets tough,the tough go digging

Chicken with roasted veg - tomatoes (black crimea and roma), shallots, garlic, french beans and courgette (augmented with shop bought aubergine and peppers (must crack how to grow them) and minted new potatoes. For pudding I've made a tarte tatin.

Arhhh it's not just me who couldn't wait ;D Do they keep getting bigger, because my parsnips are already huge!

If they are already big enough, dig some up and store in sand or "spent" growbag...  :)

OK I'll have to look for some plays sand in the sales then. I Ran an experiment, one line i pre chitted and planted into tubes and the other just straight into the ground. The toilet roll tube line has grown at twice the rate of the other and the are next to each other! :)
