Did you notice my absence?

Probably not  :-\  ;D .  Kids half term so headed back to the home land, a fabulous week in not very sunny North Devon.  We rented a cottage on a farm for 5 nights, which was great and the kids had a ball!  Beef farm really, with a few sheep and stabling for 20 odd horses....not odd like peculiar you understand  ;). Then a couple of nights with the olds where Ava and I were suitably spoilt rotten, plied with far to much red wine, and sat back whilst the kids were entertained by my wonderous grandad (aka Taxi Bob!)  Wow was there a lot of weather whilst we were down there.  Being on the North coast we didn't suffer the huge floods that the south were bombarded with, but we had massive gales and driving rain, but to me, that is typical Devon summer weather.  Anyhow, home now and back to the grind.  Garlic was waiting for me from Marshalls, along with order forms from the allotment society tempting me with cheap seed spuds and onion sets, and a further couple of catalogues!  For goodness sakes, don't these people know how much money kids manage to spend on a weeks hols!  ;D  Might bore you rigid later and post a couple of snaps.

Sure did, EmmaJane.  Missed your chat about the kids and the funny slant you put on things that happen at the lottie!  Thought you would have gone to Devon and did think about you when I saw the weather reports on the News!! Glad you weren't swamped/blown away and that you had such a good time with your family and on the farm.
Equality isn't everyone being the same, equality is recognising that being different is normal.

Course we missed you EJ :)

Glad to hear that you had a great time in Devon. Did you have a cream tea? That's one of my favourite things to do in Devon  ;D
Lottie-less until I can afford a house with it's own garden.

HIYA EJ. GLAD TO HAVE YOU BACK!!!!

The answer is YES you have been missed. I've been popping in at nights for a wee while to see if there were any of your cheery messages around and couldn't find any!!  :(

Devon sounds wonderful and just the place to re-charge the batteries. Pity the weather wasn't better though. Devon sounds just like Scotland - the kind of weather you had sounds just like our summers too.  :P

Post as many piccies as you can EJ as I love to see how 'you and yours' are getting along. I'll be around a bit more after mothers funeral tomorrow so I'll look out for them.  :D

Take care.

Eileen.

I didn't even notice.

But then I wasn't here much last week (busy with a training course all week).

Sounds like a great holiday - especially the 20-odd horses (all horses are weird - believe me!  ;) ) Do post pics!
gone to pot :D
