When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Yes shirl I guess so.

Are you going to put them in a seed bed??

Tee Gee

You can sow them now or in Spring but generally the fresher the seed the better the success, so I would go for now!

I've been sow mine this last week. As delphiniums can self seed naturally, sow them as the seed ripens, just like nature intended.

What will you sow them in? pots or the ground? I've gathered some seed from this year's blooms and guess I should do something with it.  I'm excited that after cutting the blooms back as soon as they flowered (except for one stalk to make seed), they have now sent up second buds and are just about ready to open!

Do you still get earwigs in the seed  heads - I remember them as a child.
