TRAT is the only high speed, fully-supported Lands end to John O'Groats (LEJOG) in the cycling calendar. In six days, a team of amateur racers travel the 874 mile long route made famous by time triallists and tourists alike, averaging 150 miles in each ten hour day. The ride supports the Bishop Simeon Trust's work fighting HIV/AIDS in South Africa and symbolises the race against time to help an ever increasing number of people whose lives are affected by this disease.

As those who know me will guess, I'm not riding but part of the support team. I'm going to do the cooking, so I've been dignified with the title of "chef".

If you'd like to follow the ride, or even better come out and shout "chapeau" as the riders go past, you can find details of the route and our progress here http://bishopsimeontrust.wordpress.com/

The ride itself starts on Sunday 21st June and ends the following Friday night.
