Cleaning water tanks

Currently compiling a list of winter jobs ... some of the water tanks on our site are a bit disgusting - very soupy looking some of them.

I would appreciate any tips on cleaning them.

If you can hire a portable jet wash then use this to clear out slime and grime from the tanks.
Failing that there is a product on the market that works for me, BIOTAL is the name.
25ml treats one tank if put in on a weekly basis.
