Evening everyone... I was given three shallow boot planters that have seen better days. After scrubbing and washing away all the ingrained dirt accumulated. I am considering painting it and giving it a new lease of life. I am not too sure how I should go about doing it. Is there any particular kind of paint I should use for such a project please. Thank you.

I hope to think your refering to a wellington boot in order to plant something inside if so get a drill and make some holes or things well rot inside will look nice with some trailing verbena or nasturtians lobelia

It is an object to put your plants in. It is shaped just like a worn out boots,  and they are stone ware.

Hi Daileg, it is shaped as a boot, and yes they have holes at the bottom for drainage. Before putting any plants in it. I have to restore it first, it does looked a bit worn out.

If It's stoneware, you could probably use (concrete) floor paint.
If there's no oil under it, there's no oil in it.
