No... we've sown it as late as June before... will be a bit later to form useful bulbs though..  :)

I'm just hardening off some I sowed in modules a month ago, I could post you a module of seedlings next week (going to a festival this weekend, will be back Tuesday)

it's always too late to sow celeriac. Put it another way, i've never had any blooming bulbs off it

Best of Luck though  :D

In my opinion - Yes

I sow my seeds in early February to get a long growing season.

My web page is very popular, and typing "Growing Celeriac" into Google brings it up at number 1.

I sowed mine in April as thats what it said on the packet.  Have just pricked them out to grow on in modules.  Never grown it before so will be impressed if I get golf balls  ;D ::).  They take ages (about 3 weeks) to germinate so I would say you are probably a bit late.

I'd take up Chris's offer and offer him some of your seeds in return ? ;)
Leave only footprints, take only photographs ....

In 2006 I sowed late in plug trays and then planted out in July. Got an ok crop of medium sized celeriac in October but I think it was quite a long growing season that year down South.

I sowed in early Feb, they failed, then again early March and they are doing OK I would say too late, see if the garden centres are selling any plants.  ;D ;D ;D
