What do you do to stop slugs eating your radishes? I grew three different types in rows next to each other

Scarlet Globe
Icicle
French Breakfast

The slugs went straight for the Scarlet Globe and basically left the other two alone. This might seem like an answer to my problem ~unfortunately I love Scarlet Globe most of all. The other too are much milder in flavour.
Hellllllllllp!!

I grow mine 10-12 to a 5" pot in the mini greenhouse.  It helps with flea beetle problem too.

last year i grew a rainbow variety which weren't bothered by slugs. this year Feb i grew another variety Riesenbutter which were attacked as soon as the weather warmed up causing the slugs to emerge and boy were they attacking my swelling radishes some were decimated overnight and they were already the size of marbles :o. so i pelleted them end of story. i don't normally use the pellets but its effective when a particular plant or crop is very susceptible. if you don't want to use pellets why not offer them something they cant resist like beer, etc.
