Chickens

I have been considering having just 2 hens in my back garden to produce eggs.

Does anyone here keep hens at home? Are they noisy etc?Etc. 
Looked on the net, but not getting the answers I am looking for. :D  Any advice about keeping hens at home appreciated :)

Yes they do make a noise but not as much as my kids do! I have four in the back garden in a house and run ( the run keeps them save and my flowers save to ;D also i can let them out to do their thing if i'm out) What else do you want to know?
