well last year I did everything far to earlier, and the weather was bad, so this year trying to everything much later :) 
I am hoping for a good summer :D

By sowing later, your plants benefit from warmer temperatures and more hours of daylight. You should end up with healthier, stronger plants. The downside is you'll have to wait longer for your tomatoes.
