I have grown these for 3 years. Got the seed from Real Seeds. Last year only half of the seeds germinated while the rest just went soggy. They did apologise and said that a lot of customers had reported the same thing happening. They are not doing them this year and I only had 4 seeds left, Sowed these and they were no good. Has anyone got a few seeds so that I can restock please
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Where did you try to germinate the seeds? I had major problems with beans last year, the only one that worked was Cosse Violette, which seems to thrive at rather lower temperatures than a lot of them.

The seed was sown all at the same time but only one pack germinated. They were all treated the same.apparently lots of folk had a problem with them. Thats why they aren't in this years brochure. skame cos they are lovely

I think I have a few of these left from last year. I only sowed a few but they germinated okay if I remember rightly. I also saved a lot of the beans as dried beans to eat - sorry now I didn't save them for re-sowing.

I'll check my beans and pm you if I have some.
