Shadowdragon, I am sure the council can be pursuaded to get you even more topsoil and hopefully they will do it sharpish. Hoping all goes well for you. Stick in there and I am sure things will be mils better soon

At least you found it before they came, so you don't have to try to get them out a second time! Go back and make an even bigger fuss.

Yeah I was assured that they will be coming next week and they will clear any contamination i find, and replace with topsoil. Its just annoying finding it int he first place, like I dont have enough to deal with pulling weeds, and rotavated dustbin sacks/old rope/fishing nets out of the soil.

I did have a bit of a daydream that they came dug the whole plot out and replaced it with fresh topsoil. But thats all it will be a dream LOL.

Well I would but unfortunately its been two weeks and they still havent got round to sorting out the two patches yet!!! Going to ring them tommorow and put my unhappy hat on  :(
