New whistle

Cowes week is upon us and I like to be out and about mixing it with the money. Bagged a new suit for £30 today one of those lightweight linen jobbies. Just the thing to go down to the Yacht Squadron in.

Blimey I look a real lounge lizard with me hat,  cravat and loafers. Missus has a job keeping her hands off me. The suit was reduced by half price to £60 so I joked with the girl in Burtons that is said 50% off marked price so she gave it to me for £30 plus a free panama hat I got them to chuck in as well. (I think they just wanted me out of the shop).

It's Party time on the waterfront so I had better be off.
