Dark by 8.30pm tonite!  8.30 for goodness sakes!!  Just a few weeks ago I was down on the plot at 8.30pm picking runners!  Pah!    :'(

I know EJ! We have really jumped into Autumn too.  Up here it starts to darken at 8.ish now, and we were just saying today that a short time ago we were at our plot working until 9.30 p.m. Whatever happened to the summer.  ???  :( busy_lizzie

I've really noticed it too.

Thought it was really late last night as it was so dark, but it was only 8.15.

I'm looking on the bright side, though - I look forward to woolly jumpers, hats, coats, snuggling up with a cup of tea, long dark evenings sat by the radiator, and looking forward to spring!

............and it's dark now when I get on my bicycle to go to work in the mornings. It won't be long before it's dark coming home too!

Today it did feel as if summer had returned, I didn't even need a coat riding home. I hope it will be like that tomorrow too, so much to do in the lottie.

Tis quite dark now - won't be down the plot at this time for a few months now  :(

Friday night, I realised we'd run out of milk, so walked to the local shop and it was dark already.  :o It was only 7.30pm. In future if that happens, I've got a good excuse for sending Mr Aqui out instead (but it's dark dear and I don't feel safe!)
