This was a view inside my greenhouse this morning, as you can see it is beginning to fill up.

Part of the hot bed;

Some of my tomato plants;

A closer look;

Not wanting to get caught out again with a cold snap, my poly is full, the greenhouse is full and the greenhouse at my clients house is also overflowing. Something has to give soon. I found 40 alchemilla mollis that were potbound, but sprouting lovely, so now I have divided them and have 80 , but they will need a bit of shelter for a while, I think the Yeti in pink knickers will go into a sulk when she tries to use the conservatory. ;)

Ace, do you grow your alchemilla from seed or cuttings? I love that plant, especially after the rain.

I usually use division. It is one of those plants that nurseries end up with over winter,dead looking and pot bound. I pick them up at 50p a pot and divide into twos or threes.

It is a stock, show garden plant. Water it just before judging and it looks great. (giving away trade secrets now ;))
