Mr Smith

Looks like a mounted rabbits tail on a stick from a squashed rabbit, ;D

betula

In Suffolk, its called 'cow mumble' - botanical name is Heracleum sphondylium.   We also used to pick it for rabbit food!

Cow mumble.I like that name.Thanks ;D

Alimo

It looks like hogweed to me - be careful if you get the sap on your skin, it is an irritant and can cause nasty burn - type reactions.

Bjerreby

I'd agree, Heracleum sphondylium = hogweed. Mind the sap.......

Unwashed

I don't believe hogweed has the phototoxic sap like giant hogweed.  Pigs were fed it - hence the name - and they're typically susceptible to whatever we are.  I like the name 'cow mumble' - hadn't heard that before.
