Strawberries

Hi all

I received my strawberries yesterday what do i do with them now? Opened the bag up and just looks like a tangled mess  :-\

How do i separate them? Do i plant them in my container outside now?

Soak the roots overnight then plant where they are to grow.

Thankyou will go and pop them in water now. How many would you plant in a oak half barrel?

I planted 10 in a half barrel last year and they did quite well for their first year. Some do advise not to take any fruit in the first year, but I did, I couldn't wait  ;D
