Flower seed swap? Nasturtiums wanted!

I was just about to order a couple of nasturtium varieties (the pale yellow 'Moonlight' and the hot pink 'Jewel Cherry Rose') but thought I'd look into swaps first. Anyone got nasturtium seeds of that type or similar, and would like to do swaps? I do love nasturtiums, but I'm not keen on the standard colours, mainly because I find red hard to fit into the cool blues/mauves/whites colour scheme that I like best, and nasturtiums do such a *loud* red! (Though, I'll have plenty of red this year from my bean plants.)

To swap, I have

Mirabilis Jalapa in hot pink:

Phlomis Russeliana:

Allium Moly (yellow) bulbs:

Purple toadflax (Linaria Purpurea)

Tall single poppies (4ft tall, colours unknown)

Another thing I'm looking for is Ivy-Leaved Toadflax (Cymbalaria), and herbs of almost any kind. Also, comfrey!

Let me know if you're interested in any swaps. I also have some vegetable varieties if you're interested, ping me for a list...
cheers
x Helen

I can spare you half a pack(15 seeds), if thats any use to you.

Thanks Nilly, but that's the red kind! I already have some seeds for that - it's the pale yellow ones I'm looking for, plus the hot pink...
Cheers anyway!

Just to let you know, this is the link to johnsons seeds http://www.johnsons-seeds.com/catalogue/product/3255-7/ there are other colours apart from red, but i guess you would have to pick out the ones coming up as red when planted.

Hi Nilly - thanks for that  - yes, I meant 'that's the kind that includes red', not meaning to imply that they're all red. Generally you get red, orange and yellow from standard nasturtium seed. But there are some varieties like 'Moonlight' and 'Milkmaid' which are pale yellow only, and one, 'Jewel Cherry Rose' which is hot pink, 'Salmon Baby' which is a peachy-pink coloured double, etc... other varieties which are dark red or maroon...
I'm trying to avoid the temptation to buy packets of this and that, though, specially for flowers - I can justify spending on veg seeds more than flower seeds! :D

Thanks for the info. This year will be the first year for growing them, if i like them i might look into the ones you have mentioned.

If they like your garden, they can go really mad, and sprawl everywhere - you can practically see them growing. They don't care about the soil, in fact you get more flowers and fewer leaves if the soil is poor - but they don't like shade. The only time I've seen them defeated was in my old garden which was completely overshadowed by the neighbours eucalyptus tree.
