I have lots of small tubers which I won't eat as too small, but replant this year as the small ones seem to do as well as the big ones.

I am going to do the same as last year and put some in my swop parcel as a bonus so everyone can take a few to get them started. They are only white ones though. I bought 5 tubers 3 years ago and not needed to buy any since.

Why would he mind?

As for taste, I can't speak for the white ones but the red are not unlike potato while the pink/orange slightly swede but both are sweeter.

I mix the small ones 50 50 with potato and boil till tender then mash in the usual manner.

sounds worth a try especially as you dont need to peel em lol
