Quite a lot of us, being a bit on the tight side. Buy our fruit trees in early spring from supermarkets.

Aldi and Lidl Usually get some and the price is quite good, £3.99 area.

As far as I know, no one has had a failure. But these shops are pretty good if there are complaints, just keep the packaging and receipt.

With gardening, it does not always follow that you get what you pay for, there can be a big profit margin on some items.

Homebase have recently been selling a range of good quality fruit trees (apple, pear, plum, peach, apricot) for £9.99 and cane fruit (raspberry, loganberry, tayberry) for £4.99, with reductions for multiple buys. All in pots, not bare root.
