Why did you choose your screen name?

I think I have told you this before, but will bore you all again.  When I first took on my allotment my lovely Italian friend was sitting in the sun shelling (is that the right word) beans.  I went to help him and we had a pleasant chat and ended up with buckets of borlotti beans.  He insisted that I had a bucket full, never heard of them before and not sure what to do with them.  I didn't want to offend him so took them home and put them in the freezer.  He is still very helpful, planted a bay tree for me and grafts fruit trees.  He is quite old, meet his grandchildren but he is very strong and when he sees me digging sometimes helps me.  The only trouble I have with him is that he hates my wild flowers, says I am wasting good growing space but he is a darling. He also loves his broad beans, which I am not too keen on, but I do love his windfall apples which he gives me in plenty.

My screen name is short for Posiepain, which is my little sister's nickname - however having used the full nickname and getting some VERY dodgy messages in chat rooms I decided to shorten it lol  ;D ;) ;D

Been using timnsal for emails for years - he's Tim n I'm Sal. Was already at least one Sally registered here and if I'd added a number or something, I'd never remember what it was.  Didn't want to have to reregister every time I posted ::)

Well I read this forum for about 2 weeks before I decided to join in.
I liked seeing so many members using their own names.
The honesty of everyone made me feel comfortable enough to use my first name and surname initial.  ;)

That's why I used my real name too. Well, there was someone already registered as "Trevor" - although he hasn't bothered to post yet - so I added my surname initial as well. I'm not into all this disguise stuff - WYSIWYG for me!
