biggest onion comp

When i first joined someone posted about a biggest onion comp, but i can't find the thread ???

I was wondering if we could ask for help, if so HELP! ;D

I was thinking of starting them off in a plastic egg box but i have only got about 6 seeds and did not want to ruin them.
Should i start sowing my Mammoth onion seeds now?
