For a 'reasonably priced' luxury - Big Prawn Crayfish Tails.

Yes, unfortunately, they are Asian sourced, peeled & frozen, so you can't re-freeze. However, they are in brine & have a reasonable fridge life unopened.

A bit of Preserved Lemon in the Yoghurt, Mayo, Chilli, Ketchup dressing is nice!

I've got new potatoes at the moment!  The Christmas potatoes came up trumps.  Been in the ground since August, fleeced them against the early frosts in October but the frosts took the foliage away pretty quickly.  Left the fleece over them on the ground, but it froze and couldn't dig them up around Christmas so lifted them around 10 days ago and they are lovely.  There were a couple of small marble sized spuds quite near the surface and they were soft, but the rest of the crop is perfect.  They are Carlingford.  New potatoes in January!
