Cheapest source for monarflex type sheeting I know of is around £50 per 2mx45m roll from pretty much any scaffolding company, it's around 6 times that price if you get it from a gardening company like LBS.

Baccy Man    Is there vat and postage to add to that price?

Baccy Man

Yes there is vat & postage to add on.

We have a sort of sun room with a polycarbonate roof that is leaking. I use it for over wintering plants. Could it be used for that & would it be safe to have a freezer in there.

It's £42 on the link, but Vat would bring it up by £6, then P+P...  still looks like good stuff...  ;D

monarflex is reinforced polythene sheeting, very strong, but a roof of it needs plenty of supports to stop 'sagging'.
You couldn't make it up!

£50 was an average price this company charges £67.62 inc vat with free delivery on orders over £50 coincidentally they also sell 31"x13" hessian sand bags for £0.40 each which hold about 12.5kg of potatoes.

This and the debris netting suggestion (I think that was yours, gtg?) got me thinking...the company I work for does scaffold sale and hire, so I enquired and got a roll (2m x 50m) of debris netting for £15.99 new, and our/their equivalent of monarflex is approximately £42 to me (45m).

Just saying thanks.  ;)

I'll keep you in mind, I wasn't going to get it until April.
