Plugs for plants

Hi can anyone tell me the best way to make plugs for plants, well that what I think they are called, small mounds of soil to put a seed into to start the plant growing, also allowing it to be posted easier

any advise will be welcome.

we use jiffy 7's for lots of seeds, also use inside of toilet rolls to do bigger seeds, e.g beans, sweetcorn..makes it easier to put them in the ground with no root disturbance  :)
