You've all seen the pictures of my Butternut squash and I've had some great PM's about them so thank you to all who did send me messages.

A few weeks ago was my Grandaughters Christening at Thorney Abbey. My Son, a Chef at Barnsdale Hall, pinched one of my butternuts, took it to work and came back with this as one of the table centerpieces.

It was carved by a Latvian chef along with a fantastic swan carved out of a melon full of flowers made from peppers, courgettes, carrots etc.

When we were in Tunisia the chefs used to do some lovely displays of fruit and veg. They made penguins out of aubergines and fluffy looking teddies from cauliflower. Just wish I'd have taken some pics of them. They look really good. P69
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
