Vegetable tian

Found this recipe today and it sounds yummy but the instructions are a bit sparse! If flowerlady or anyone else sees this, can you tell me whether the veg should be sautees first?

can't see any rx here but if it were me I would certainly saute the onions and garlic or peppers for example if using them

probably too late though, you've already eaten it  ;D

Thanks. In case anyone else is interested, I did sautee all the veg first, but it still needed longer than the recipe said to cook them through (possibly because I let it cool before I put it in the oven).
