Real comfort food for me tonight...cumberland sausage, peas, mash and onion gravy - at the pub, after a Hard Day's Shopping in the city.. 8)

Parmesan crusted chicken breasts, tomato and basil salsa with a potato, pepper and onion warm salad.

Oh says we can have it again so either it was good or the bottle of Rioja blurred his judgement.   ;)

Borlotti

We had roast lamb, garlic, roast pots, runner beans, spinach, but I really, really fancied pancakes, so we had two each with lemon and sugar.  Very easy and very tasty.

I cooked a fab pork tenderloin from the farmer's market. Sliced and pan fried with loads of garlic, herbs and creme fraiche and a handful of baby spinach leaves a minute before serving. Accompanied by sliced potatoes, onions and taleggio cheese slow cooked with a little stock till meltingly soft. Wonderful, if I say so myself!

littlebabybird

pumpkin soupy stew and dumplings (veg suet)

Smells wonderful. :)

Sliced potatoes and onions and unpeeled garlic cloves partially roasted with salt, pepper and oregano then stock added and lamb steaks. All returned to the oven for 40 minutes. Quite delectable.
