I have two tickets, which I am unable to use, for the show valid for one day on either Friday12,Saturday13 or Sunday14 of September.  If anyone would like to make use of them please pm me your address and I will get them in the post tonight 1st class

I don't think this is usually the right place for this but for them to be of any use to anyone I would like to get tkts in the post tonight and this seems to get the most hits! I really don't want them to go to waste.

Yippee! Thanks so much- now to look at the forecast!

Quotenow to look at the forecast!

Doesn't really matter at the autumn show all the best bits (in my opinion) are under cover.

I maybe going on Friday haven't decided yet.

You're right, TeeGee, all the giant veg etc are inside.Sadly I'm working in Friday, will probably go on Sunday.

Well, it was such a lovely day here  (yes, I know, unbelievable!) that we decided to go today. Had a great time wandering round all the exhibits. Could have spent a fortune but I was very restrained and only bought some BIG labels and some twine, and we treated ourselves to a small olive tree (ever optimistic) as a present for our anniverary on Monday. Many thanks again to Susiebelle for the tickets :D
Here are a few pics to give you a flavour of the afternoon:

And a few more ( not a patch on TeeGee's!)

We went on Saturday too Caroline.

Wasn't it hot? I could feel the sun burning the back of my neck.

It's the first time we've been but I'll definitely go again, we had a really good time.

Oh! I don't agree!! what I like about yours is your choice.

You chose to photograph what you liked as I did, so between us we have let the others who did not go, get a better insight to what was there.

Well done!! I enjoyed looking at them it seems weeks ago since I visited, yet it was only last Friday.

Will have to try to meet up next time, Jo!

I'm up for that. After going on Saturday, I quite fancy going to the Spring one now. Have you been to that one before?

Jo.

Ooops, don't know what happened there.

Anyway, I was saying, I'm definitely up for that.

You were most welcome Caroline, thank you for the pics! it looks lovely, I will have to make sure I get there next year, just need to get myself more organised, now how long have I been telling myself that? it would be lovely to say hello to some one out there!

caroline7758

Did go to the spring one once but the traffic jam getting there rather put me off going again. But I might go later in the day- it's bigger than the Autumn one so busier. Do you live locaaly, jo?

jo9919

Caroline, I'm in Garforth.

Forgot to mention to you, I've been to Milford Farm recently and bought 20 perennials for £15 for the front garden. They don't look much to look at at the moment, but I'm hoping for great things next year.

The last time I went to Milford Farm I wasn't impressed at all, but I got some decent plants this time, so fingers crossed.

I haven't been to Grimstead Park this year.  Have you?

Jo.
