Was pruning my tomato plants and found this.

Side-shoots from the centre of the leaf stem.

I think someone else on the forum had the same weird-ness.

I recon its from over feeding.

Very common. Possibly over-watering?

I've got the same. There was a question about this on a recent "Gardener's Question Time". They said not to worry about it.

I removed some of those this morning......I have never had this happen before!
