Hi again, i've let the chilli's dry out alittle and it seems to have sorted the fungus spores, thanks alot!
but i have another quick question, my Cucumbers (Moneymaker) have got to about 5 foot now, with lots of baby Cuc's comming along nicely, should i snip the top off so it can concentrate on the cuc's or shall i just let it keep growing up?

Ones im growing outside are only about 3foot and seem to have stopped so im not worried about those  :P

Don't know about Moneymaker, but one method advises pinching out at roof height & allowing a lateral to develop & hang down.

More than one source advises pinching out the first 2-4 laterals. All others are terminated at 2 leaves past the first node.

I let the leaders go on mine until they become a nuisance then pinch them out.  They still throw laterals all the time, which if left to their own devices keep going until stopped as well - now I'm sure I had a green house- damned cucumbers  :P ;D ;D

Interesting links.

Cucumbers - mini or long? How many to a plant on average with your method?

Thought this was interesting - moisture should never be less than 65% of the WHC (Water Holding Capacity).

I have to admit failure to observe this.

Thanks folks i guess i leave them till they hit the roof and then certial their fun.
